Koncert Pop Yeh Yeh

Looking at how the guys enjoyed themselves at the concert
it is quite comforting to know that we on this exciting little island of Singapure can still manage to catch world class acts without having to travel out of the country..
The following are the concerts which I had the pleasure to attend in our own backyard.. in no particular order..

Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine same venue same year
Loudness 1986 Sentosa
Metallica 1993 Indoor Stadium( I swear this is true.. the night before the gig me and my friends met Kirk Hammett outside Paragon)
Daryll Hall And John Oats 1993 Indoor Stadium
Henry Rollins 1993 SLF Hall
Fugazi 1993 Bukit Batok CC and again at Fire Disco at a later date same year
Pearl Jam 1994 Indoor Stadium( Hari Raya First Day.. almost went in baju kurung)
Simply Red forgot the year Indoor Stadium ( But I did remember seeing Mick Hucknall later that night chatting up a Malay chick at HRC)
Depeche Mode 1994 Indoor Stadium
Sting 1994 Indoor Stadium.. missed the show this year
Foo Fighters/ Sonic Youth Harbour Pavillion 1996 ( MTV Tour Beastie Boys supposed to play too but were banned.. so they holidayed in Bali instead)
Smashing Pumpkins 1996 Harbour Pavillion ( Billy Corgan made his botak debut... met him again years later while in transit in Singapore.. nice guy)
Suede 1996/1998 Harbour Pavillion ( Brett Anderson signed my Coming Up CD.. )
Pet Shop Boys Indoor Stadium ( Don laff.. even tho they are fags I like them and the show was fabolous complete with topless FEMALE dancers)
